Are there samples of the shockwave/intel 3d intiative?
Will it be any better then the current 3d solutions for Director - such as
Nemo?

I've looked at Pulse and its quality is still a little bit "iffy" for our
purposes.

Have you looked at Metastream? It has brilliant anti-aliasing and a very
nice streaming technique? Its XML controls also are very nice.
