You could set a variable for the z-axis and an if statement which loads the
mc into a master clip on the target level. It would be kind of tricky, but
it should work.

Subject: FLASH:Psuedo 3D effect question
Hey Everybody
What I'm doing is trying to create a faux-3D isometric enviroment, laid out
on
a square grid.
My question is- how can I have 10-15 different movie clips (under user
control)
moving around in this environment, some times moving in front of each other,
sometimes behind, effectivley creating the impression of a Z axis.
Seeing as Flash sets everything into layers, is there a way to do this, as
for
any two given MCs, sometimes MC_A will be in front of MC_B, and sometimes
vice
versa (I hope this is clear).
Cheers,
Dean Kerrigan
