>From a previous post I understood you're using a MAC. So the tool I suggested (WebSpeedOptimizer) would do you any good. But maybe
it still does... I looked into some of the documentation and it can be used as some kind of server. So, if you're in a network and
there's one PC you could install it on that and browse to it from your MAC over the network, just like a webserver (you can set it
to any port you want).
I hope this is of any help.
Hell, instead of a 56k modem, make 'em buy a PC :-)
