If you need to dynamically link to an external .JPG somewhere in the world,
then that's more a case for Shockwave than Flash.
(As George and Michael pointed out, if you can put the JPG inside a SWF
beforehand, then you can do this in Flash. Shockwave offers more media
types, more controls, though... it's one of the tradeoffs for the larger
Mac/Win player.)
