FLASH: Can a swf be converted into MC?

I have build a page entirely in Flash.


I have an existing swf that I would like to have play in the new flash page 

layout...(poor pre-planning)


If it were a simple html page, it would be EMBEDED, but this is another 

flash page I'm dealing with so it seems the best idea would be somehow 

converting the .swf into a MC.(or maybe you have a better solution)


Any ideas would be very appreciated!
