Only place Vecta is better as far as I can see is if you have the Max
plug-in and are exporting max _animations_ directly through Vecta. Very
large files though, and no shading.

As far as the standalone Vecta, its better if you don't have a wintel box
(for now) or don't have 100$ more than you would spend on Vecta, IMHO...
