Marie,
I've gone through the Learning Flash 4 tape series and it's a pretty
straightfoward introduction to all the basic elements of the Flash authoring
interface and a typical Flash movie (movie clips, tweening, etc.). I picked up a
few helpful tips and short cuts. Most of it, however, you can pick up from a good
Flash book -- at less than a third of the price. It all depends on how you think
you learn best ...
But there's not much in it about ActionScripting. I learned at the flashforward
conference, however, that there's a second three-tape series from lynda.com that
goes further into ActionScripting, with Josh Ulm.
