Since it is Saturday night, and traffic is very light, could one of you that
might have the time, kind of review the "widgets" concept? I got the
impression it was a cross between the "library" of buttons, etc., available
in F4 and the "plug 'n play" concept that John C. used for some of his
"customizable" functionality.

Yes? Or am I way off? I have been dreaming that I could find the time to
gather up all/some of the various and assundry tutorials and open-fla-stuff
I've found and put them into some kind of organized "library" - like a math
one, a string manipulator, a "follow the mouse", a library of text
validation routines (date, e-mail) etc etc...but just can't seem to get
myself that organized...

Secondly, the idea of palettes and collapsible window-thingies scares the
beejeebers outa me, Tom! I have NO experience with those sorts of things,
and when I download a demo here & there of programs with those sorts of
interfaces, I am sorely intimidated. The sheer numbers of available tools,
off & on, open & closed, brushes, pencils, buckets and erasers...aargh!
Please tell me that when I upgrade to Flash5 that I will still be able to
find things....
