The ex-pat crack was easy. It might be a little harder to discount the
two years I spent working as a Labour researcher in the Shadow Heritage
team, including drafting stuff for Chris Smith. As for proof of Murdoch's
insidious nature, you have no idea how heavily the proposed cross-media
ownership restrictions have been watered down from pre-manifesto
thinking.
Next time I see you Ray, remind me to tell you about the time I told Tony
Blair to pull his socks up, in a lift at No.1 Parliament Street, while he
was still Shadow Home Secretary...
