- BUH -- OOPS. UH, BOOM. ER, THAT IS 'BOO!'

 SURPRISED?

 After five months of delays, one of the best-funded 

 European internet start-ups finally launched its 

 sales site simultaneously in seven countries, 

 including the US, UK, Germany and France. Boo.com 

 sells "sport and streetwear," with a youthful 

 life-style spin, but with no discounts. Although 

 the company made a big splash with an expensive 

 advertising campaign months ago, its actual 

 operation has been stung with technical and other 

 problems, including differential pricing between 

 countries and getting some suppliers up to internet 

 speed.


So are the Yanks impressed? No siree bob!


Me? I don't buy 'Boo'.
