chris - the bandwidth would just get the CPU-nuking-window-popping-frenzy
that is boo.com to your desktop quicker... cf. 'loosemore's law' (how it
galls me to type that...)

t'be fair to mr. perfect.co.uk, i think the design and IA was done by
organic SF/NY, not london.

also - there are lots of great ideas in boo.com, and it's visually striking
- very stylish indeed - awesome production and brand values embodied in the
design - highly questionable UI and info. arch. however, which, unless it's
solved in very short order might (coupled with the fact that the goods on
sale seem v. pricey) sink it...

i hope they do some quick tactical changes to suss those IA/UI problems (1.
make it simpler to buy - give people a plain path 2. kill the pop-out frenzy
3. don't lose the fun and the flash but don't force people to wade through
it... http://www.sonicnet.com is a great example of that) - cos i don't
want it to fail - it's a great brand, they've raised a shit load of cash and
helped put the spotlight on the scene in europe, and raised the bar in terms
of brand and visual design - it would be a real shame if they are victims of
over-vaulting ambition.

i think they'll all be down the pub (or chi-chi wallpaper*-ish equiv.) now
anyway... so won't expect a response!

love
