What makes the keyword system so different from the user perspective, is
that they only get high quality results- no rubbish- no dead links -no links
leading to britney spears nude mpegs ('less thats what your after). What the
user gets is quality. That quality is dictated by sites who are prepared to
pay be seen. This means that godado becomes a great resource for shopping
and services sites and thats the attraction to the user. If we have an
undersubscribed category, our subscriber results are always backed up by the
exhaustive results of mamma.com, so you can still see britney in the buff.
I dont really get the logic of claims that sites are "imposing" on you, we
offer a way for sites acheive the ranking they require, rather than the
ranking that a traditional search engine "imposes" on you. And you dont get
fleeced paying someone to place bribes.

I don't know about anyone else - but from a user perspective, if I use a
search engine I want to see results which are pertinent to the keywords
I have used to guide the search - I do not want to have results pushed
at me from organisations and companies who have paid to impose their
high listing on my search. A search based on a pure index, or an open
directory are always far more useful than any of the ilk of affiliate
portals masquerading as search engines.
If an site-builder or content owner cannot obtain high results for
relevancy through proper indexing and keywords, and planning spider
paths through their content, they are not doing their job properly IMHO.
Resorting to paying to place just smacks of laziness and inaccuracy.
