Hi mark,

Having trailed ADSL with a 2 meg pipe I have to say ADSL radically changes
the way you use the internet. For a start you soon realise how poor the
quality of media from sites like ITN and ABC are and discover that QuickTime
streaming is pretty nice. You also expect different things form sites. The
most major thing I can say is you suddenly realise that you don't want
everything on one page of a site but because you know the next page will be
near instant the internet starts to shift from a real-estate issue to a time
one.

With the advent to broad band I hope we see a radical shift in web design
away from page like www.freeserve.net (not badly designed - just lots going
on on one page) to more playstation like front ends.

Cheers
