"Those Stanford grad students have some answers. If you're trying to
measure the worth of a relatively new Web-based company, they suggest
that you abandon traditional measures of worth, such as price to book
value or price to earnings. Then they suggest abandoning the rules of
the recent past: Measures like name recognition or Web hits a day are
passe, too.
Look to some of the analysts who are trying to develop new measures of
'net company worth. They are looking at data like lifetime value per
user, and comparing revenue growth with the marketing dollars that
produced it. Ignore the raft of promotions that companies are putting
out on themselves, and look for companies that have good businesses
online or off."

the individual choice of garnishment of a burger can be an important
point to the consumer in this day when individualism is an increasingly
important thing to people.
