Why not just set a cookie to check if the person has been on the site
before, and if he has already been there more than lets say 5 times, he
gets to see the page without the intro.

That would solve the problem, isn't it? The person gets to see it, and if
he comes back often, immediately gets the content.

my 2 cent (the Euro also uses Cent :-)
