FLASH: Screensaver sound option

I'm thinking of creating a screen saver with sound,

but you know how annoying that can get sometimes.  So,

I need to offer a sound on/off button that once set,

will stay that way every time thereafter until turned

back on/off.  


Trouble is, how will the setting made in one instance

be remembered the next time the flash movie is loaded?

 Is this possible within the flash movie or do I have

to rely on the screensaver creation software where it

would actually be a screensaver setting.


Thoughts?
