FLASH:Do Variables from ext. file only work with Browsers?

I can't seem to figure a way to be able to load an external text file except

when working in a browser.  Is there any way to configure a stand alone

projector to load the file.  I have it scripted as such:


Load Variables: "./test.txt", 0


I have had this problem numerous times...even after rebuilding the files and

trying to build them up again!!  Please if anyone knows...let me in on the

secret!
