Title: RE: FLASH: FLASH 4; Wacom Tablet
James,

I use a wacom tablet both at work and at home .. I purchased the 4 x 5 tablet in both cases.

The fact that larger tablets do have a larger 'drawing' surface doesnt really mean that it is more useful.
Bottom line - you're simply making longer strokes and having to travel a longer distance to work with.

To understand that - the tablet actually simulates your screen size - if you point to the bottom left corner the mouse pops up there on your screen and evrywhere else accordingly. So having a smaller tablet is actually an advantage becuase goingfrom bottom left to top right is simply a flick of the wrist buton a 6 x 8 and above you actually move your entire hand which over an 8 hour day can get rather tiresome.

cheers.
jim.

what size tablet do you guys recommend minimum? I have been looking at buying one for a while and can not really afford anything too big but I do not want to buy one that is too small. An indication of what size is good would be great please.

Cheers

Only problem I know of would be if you have an Ice Blue G3 but lack
current software.

Looks like you're on a PC, so Happy Wacomming!
