Actaully, another way is to just use duplicate movie clip to duplicate the
sound MC. The MC will then span all scenes since duplication occurs at
runtime, when the scenes have been compressed into 1 scene.

Just put your background music into their own movie, and use load movie on
the first frame of your first scene and it will continue to play throughout.
Easiest way I know of.

I've got a game that has six scenes. (I've been reading lately that
scenes aren't a good idea, but that's too late now) When I move
between scenes, I want the background music in each scene to change.

Currently, I have clips looping on each scene, but what ends up
happening is the sounds all get played on top of each other as I move
between scenes.

I've read all sorts of posts on this topic, but haven't been able to
find the answer to my specific problem..
