FLASH: OT: Brief History of my Flash Ed. 4 my fellow Newbies

Well I'm been very fortunate to receive some nice compliments and several 

thank you

emails from the new and old Flashers on the lists for my tutorials and 

information I've

provided and just thought to ease the trepidation of the new ones using 

Flash I'd give a

brief background on my so called Flash knowledge & education.


Length of Time using Flash: aprox. 2 months total


Education in Flash: online tutorials and whatever Flash sites I've visited only


Action Script education: only what I learned in high school in computer 

programming 9

                                     years ago with Turbo Pascal, which 

thankfully the variables & IF / Else

                                     statements are pretty transferable to 

JavaScript & Flashes ActionScript


HTML Coding: about a year & a half, learned most from other ppl's webpages 

then joined

                       http://www.hwg.org Techniques list also bought HTML 

for Dummies as a quick reference

                       & my HTML Bible "Platinum Edition Using HTML 4, 

Java1.1, JavaScript1.2"


So if I can do what I've done in the short time I've been using Flash then 

anything is possible. =c)


Biggest piece of advice... NEVER be afraid to ask questions. The only 

stupid question is the one you didn't ask.
