There are some things to check:


First of all - Corel may create some obscure and a bit dirty Illustrator

Files - but it should work.


1) Be sure to clean up the File in Illustrator/Corel - only needed drawings

should be in the file.

2) Break down combined Paths or Masks to the simplest possible form

3) Maybe the position of your drawing is beyond the Flash working area -

try to import via the clipboard. If that works - reposition the drawing in

Illustrator/Corel. (Mybe the upper right corner is the reference)

4) After import: immediatly make a symbol or switch to Outlines View -

Maybe the drawing get visible then...

I've tried to import .ai (the right versios), .wmf, and .emf

files into Flash.  I do not get any error messages.  I see

the hour glass for an instant, but no objects appear on the

Flash scene.


I'm a beginner, so maybe there's something real obvious I'm

missing.  Anyone have any suggestions?


More details: This vector logo I am importing was exported

from Corel v8 as curves in all of the above formats.
