I would find that a bit...
Well, disillussioned.
I recall the days when I was pretty hardcore into the PC scene and I never the
Mac scene existed. Upon receiving a Mac, I found that not only do Mac users
probably "pirate" just as much, but they tend to do so on a much more "free"
basis. Before this gets too out of hand, what I'm trying to say is that more PC
users tend to be "I've got this, I've got this" and Mac users tend to use,
learn, master, share, and actually PURCHASE. Mac users are more likely to give
bug reports on Betas, are more likely to refuse to Pirate an OS upgrade and also
more likely to assist an all-out newbie.
But, hey...I only used to run a fairly large, well-known multi-line BBS in the
early 90's. One run-in with the Feds was enough for me. PC users are just a
bit different and typically draw a much more novice and youthful crowd.
I'm done. Hopefully this thread will be soon, too.
