FLASH: Subject Lines--make 'em fit!

Nettiquette, round two -


Since someone posted about setting your clock correctly,

maybe a post about Subject lines is in order. Here it is!


Please, make sure the subject line of your post reflects

the contents of your post. If you are replying to a post

that has drifted from the original topic, be bold and change

the subject line.  If you are responding to a digest post,

write a descriptive subject line....etc., etc....


This will help your fellow Flashers sort the hundreds of posts a

day this list can generate, and know which might interest them.

It also means we can continue discussions like the current thread

about software piracy, and know that people who don't care about

the topic can simply delete those posts.
