There is a commercial product, FLASH TURBINE, available that can in a limited

sense  give this functionality to flash3.

Do a search on www.metacrawler.com ...I am sure you will easily find it -

although it might not do everything you want it to :o)

Hello,


For a new customer i'm negotiating on quite a big contract to make a

project in Flash.


For this project i need to write text and data to a database.



The customer thinks Flash 4 is not standarized enough on the web, so he

wants it done in Flash 3 files.


I've been working with variables and database-access with success, but only

with Flash 4 files.



Are there methods to accomplish this in Flash 3 or can i only do this in

Flash 4.



Might be a big problem if it cannot be done in Flash 3.


Or is going to take a lot of talking from my side.   ;-)



Is there  anybody who can answer this question?
