Agreed. But I still have not been able to find reliable statistics on 

average connect speeds. Is it still 28K?  If so, that will determine a 

lot of what is acceptable on an e-commerce site  vs. the higher end 

entertainment sites [10% of the market so far with cable modems from what 

I hear].
