Subject: | FLASH: obtaining variables from a url |

I've been using Flash for a while, but am only now getting seriously into
scripting. Trying to figure out how to construct forms, and running into a
brick wall. I hope someone can help.
I've got a very simple form set up. Two frames endlessly looping. A blank
text field labelled "result"
A button with this action attached:
On (Release)
Load Variables ("http://waldo/users/andy/loadvariable.txt", 1, vars=GET)
End On
The url refers to a text file which simply reads "result=Success."
The idea is, I hit the button, it reads the text file and writes the word
"Success" in the field called "result."
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
