FLASH: BG transparancy

Hi,


I'm in a bit of a jam. I have a project where I want to make a site in 

HTML. I also want to ad some flash to make it more dynamic. Can 

I put my flash animation on a layer on top of my HTML background. 

In other words can you make a transparent flash background so i 

can still see my HTML background and people can already see a 

nice page whitout the flash plugin


If someone knows please help me out here
