Subject:	FLASH: Is this one of those weird PC/Mac things ?

I am starting to wonder if the compatibility of .fla's between platforms is an
issue.

Today, I decided to paw through John's "Flying text" and "Preloader" that I
picked off of his site and Brandon's "swing".

They all successfully download to my Mac. I see the icon on the desktop after
they unzip/unstuff. I double click each one and Flash boots up. Then they
promptly crash.

So how's a guy supposed to learn something if the app crashes? Any work
arounds? Thought I saw a couple of posts about it that involved ResEdit but
that app in the hands of a newbie is seriously bad juju.
