Title: Re: FLASH: Site Check: (Can you spare a moment?)
A designer's job is to satisfy his or her client at the end of the day. If you get kicks out of the work you do on the way then that's good. But there's very little room for true artists in many 'creative' jobs. Anyway, even artists can be inspired. Good design should be inspirational because, at the end of the day, the client is looking for a certain effect. The fact that something's uniquely poor has little consolation. -- Paul IC TRAINING (INTERNATIONAL) Specialists in Flash, Dreamweaver and Internet training Scheduled courses and Distance Learning by CD ROM (with supporting documentation) ---------- From: "alex" <alexiguanastudios [dot] com> To: flasherchinwag [dot] com Subject: Re: FLASH: Site Check: (Can you spare a moment?) Shouldn't there be some level of artistic pride when we stand up to clients who disrespect designers and artists by just asking them to create a reproduction of someone else's work? Where is the creative side of this list that addresses new flash designs and uses? |
