Cathlynn,

You have six movie clip instances, each containing a button instance? You
have new movie clips for each of the instances which you wish to exchange
with the six existing movie clip symbols.

What you need to do is to exchange the relationship between your movie clip
instances on the stage and your new movie clip symbols. YOu may then delete
your old movie clip symbols (but make sure it works first).

Make sure you've brought the new symbols into the library of your movie

To exchange the symbol an instance relates to;
Double click on the instance (on the stage)
The Instance Properties window opens
Choose DEFINITION tab
You'll notice a black dot against the current symbol which the instance
relates to
Click the NEW symbol which you'd like this instance to relate to
Now click the icon at the bottom left of the list ( the circular one with
arrows).
The black dot will move accordingly to the new symbol and you should find a
new (beautiful) relationship has been created.
