I couldn't pull the sense of the main thread, but fwiw Jason's absolutely
right here... when an object requests an URL of the browser, then browsers
do vary in the length of URLs they'll accept. This varies by browser brand,
version, and platform. Keeping URLs at something resembling normal length
is a good idea.
