Thanks.....that helped. But I got
another silly problem. I created a movie clip, tested the scene/movie & the
animation if fine. But when I add this movie clip to the main movie, which has
some other animation going on, the movie clip does not run. Only the first key
of MC appears & then it disapperas. What is it that I am missing
here?
One more silly question, is there a
way to save an instance from disappearing from the stage when it is being
transformed -> rotated or flipped? Let us say I want the instance to stay
where it was, but just rotate it....how is this
achieved? Renu

it must be a symbol already before it can have an
instance to modify. If starting on the main stage, select the graphics
that will be the basis for the movie clip, hit F8, and define the
symbol. Or, with nothing selected, hit F8 to begin creating the
symbol in symbol edit mode.
