A drag and drop movie clip will not work in a Mask layer, so you need to

do a work around.


You need to put the Drag button, Mask and masked layer all in the same

Drag and Drop Movie Clip. The masked layer needs to be a movie clip.

Then you need to track the X and Y positions of the main drag movie

clip. Then apply the opposite of those changes to the Masked layer MC.

The movement will be a little jerky because the Masked layer MC will

always be moved in the opposite direction to catch up with its parent

MC.
