No, the book covers the basics of ActionScript. Also, reconstructing the

code from scratch would not solve the problem. You could do another test

and copy the code to a new FLA to verify this. But since a reinstall of

Flash solves the problem and the FLA works on other computers I doubt if

there is an alternate solution to reinstalling Flash.
