Hate to say it, but, this is almost like saying:
"Hey, if the only people looking at it are your buddies and family, you don't
need it, but, if you expect to build a site that's successful, buckle down and
pay the big bucks."
And dont we design EVERY site we do in the hopes that they are successful?
Simply being on par with other "high performance servers" doesnt explain the
jump in price......Generator 1.0 wasnt nearly this expensive....and I used 1.0
to build the dynamic stock chart at CNN......
So now I have to keep Generator 1.0, but, if I build anything in Flash 4.0
using the newer cooler features (or 5.0, 6.0, 7.0) I'm out of luck, because,
the price has gone so high.
So am I to believe that its priced comparably to say Windows NT Server (at
about $2600 or so) because Generator 2 is meant to do more and even raplace NT
Server?
