It's always a desire here to match up to the various challenges presented
by Adobe Type Manager, in its various versions. The move to NT is new for
that utility and it would be nice to incorporate Adobe fonts on that OS
too. Until then, TrueType does not require ATM on NT, and is the easiest
way to go.
(If it makes you feel better, then MacOS 9 will have its own round of ATM
issues coming, so that operating system will have a gap in its font support
too. TrueType's still easy, though.)
