Because there are enough incompatibilties for graphics pros still in
effect that I didn't want to have anyone suffer needlessly, and since I
have received at least 75 emails from members of this list alone, many
who have preordered OS 9 and a few who even got it already about whether
or not they should upgrade yet.
Since nearly everyone who uses Flash also uses ATM in some form or
fashion, and also *NEEDS* many of the other products which are curently
awating updates (Virex, Stuffit, more), the logical Mac-wide kibosh is
only natural for the immediate future.
Regardless of flames, I'm still betting that most Mac users will
appreciate the heads-up.

Nettiqutte? On this list?! You're kidding, right?
Seriously, I suppose I could have composed a much shorter note, saying
"Mac Flashers should not upgrade until further notice, but the inevitable
discussion would have ensued (like it is now, I guess there's no winning,
eh?).

Never lost it. . .
