FLASH: update: FlashWriter, international

If you're not using an English-language operating system and version of

Illustrator, then please wait a bit on downloading the FlashWriter export

plugin for Illustrator 8, thanks. These localized versions are in

develoment and will be available shortly, and there will be announcements

here and on the FlashWriter pages when available. Below is the latest

official word:

Thanks for your interest in Macromedia Flash Writer for Adobe Illustrator.

Macromedia continues to strive to solve issues developers experience during

web design. We hope you will find this utility suits your needs well.


The initial release of Flash Writer was designed to support English

operating systems and versions of Adobe Illustrator. The current installer

is reflective of this design as we currently do not support installation of

Flash Writer into the non-English, Adobe Illustrator "plug-ins" directory.

This is a known issue and one we plan on addressing shortly.


We apologize for this inconvenience. We are committed to resolving this

installation issue and should have additional information available within

the next few weeks. Your patience is appreciated.
