Try explaining it to your client who doesn't understand. Try explaining it to
the end user who is afraid of adding anything to their computer or who doesn't
know what that popup box means other than "ERROR". Try having to deal with
specifications set by a client who is paying for the project and has demands
based upon the minimum requirements of their end-user.

It's really not an acceptable answer to say "just download it, it'll be quick".

This was a long, arduous argument a long time ago, but the fact of the matter is
that as a developer trying to make money, you need to know how to make some
changes. I don't really want to go into this one again.
