Is this http://active.macromedia.com/flash2/cabs/swflash.cab#version=4,0,0,0
just a one-time call
if the plug-in hasn't been installed on the visitors browser?

Pull up the swf...email it to him. Have him on the phone and have both of
you right click (assuming it is PC, if not, do a command-I) at the same time
and check the properties.
