Director, Generator, NT Server with ASP, are all costly.

PERL is free. There are versions for Unix, Windows 9x, NT and the Mac.

if you can't do it with Director, use Generator.
if you can't do it with Generator use ASP, and database on a NT Server,
if you don't have an NT Server, use Perl.

Basicly, you will need a programm (written in Perl) to send variable to Flash using "post" or "get" or a Programm (written in Perl) to add records (custom pictures) to a data base and another programm to send the variable of the database to flash.
