It sounds like your QuickTime plugin has been set to handle the SWF MIME
type, then. In most versions you can change this setting in your Netscape
Preferences dialog, in the "Applications" page. (Another place that can
have similar controls is your QuickTime Control Panel, depending on
versions.)
If you set it back to the default of using the Flash Player to render SWFs,
then the browser should call up the faster and more functional Flash Player
for those files.
