FLASH: Flash Animation Help

Can someone please tell me how to create a "drawing effect" with an

object/symbol in Flash?

For example, having a square appear as though it's drawing itself by

starting at point 1 and then the lines elongates from point 1 to point 2,

forming one side, then so on and so forth until the entire square is drawn?
