Thanks again, John. I appreciate the feedback on the variables. However,
neither you nor anybody else has answered my real question:
WHY is this the syntax for setting a variable:
"variableName"= "whatever"
A variable is an expression. WHY is it in quotes? The syntax above would seem
to suggest you were trying to set one string equal to another, and would give
you an error in probably any program except Flash. It DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.
