Hey Branden,


Great to see you back on the list man! I hope the studies went well and

your reeling in the big clients.


Thanks for the tips. My client doesn't want to use Flash 4 because they

believe

it's not on enough of the visitors computers.


I guess I need to learn some Generator then. Can I use Gen2 with

a movie exported as Flash 3?

Generator 1 would be fine... but I would recommend using Flash 4 for this

application since

a.) Flash 4 can do this nativly, you don't need generator.

b.) If you do decide to use Generator, you can use Generator 2, which has

huge improvements over gen1 in all areas.

I'm looking for help with a site that I'm developing for a client.

I need to make the Sports Ticker on the right of the home page into some

kind of updateable scrolling feed. The client has acess to live sports feeds

but how to get em into my flash movie is over my head.
