FLASH: tell target.......

I have no doubt this question has been covered but as is to be expected with such a large group I have probably missed or not needed the information when it was posted but please I ask for help now or a push in the right direction

 

I basically have a roll over button(independantly clickable) In my flash 4 scene that I want to start playing a move clip else where in the same scene when it is rolled over now I know it invloves Load movie and Tell target but the Manual is too much for a tired head are there any easier descriptions for what I want to do in simple steps not using 'Jack 1 links to Simon 3 and then on this event this happens provided..............etc etc' I am sure you have all been there please help
