I'm like you.. I really wanted to do this presentation
in Flash, but was sort of burned when a director ran
the presentation on their desktop (at a different
resolution) and the graphics looked like hell and it
ran super slow (even on a PII 266 64mb RAM). Of
course, there's always the comeback of "it runs great
on my machine", but the intention was to hand this
presentation out on CD so others could view later.
So, be careful of resolution options when importing
screen shots. Be sure and size the screen shots in
your favorite photo editor BEFORE importing to Flash.
Know your audience and the machines this presentation
will be running on.
Again, I was and still am fairly new to Flash, so
maybe I did some things wrong, I don't know. It's too
bad that Flash doesn't have any built-in functions
like transitions, effects, etc - that would save LOTS
of time.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Feel
free to send some of your work my way for review.
