FLASH: calling an .exe file

hello everyone---

I know this is probably a dumb question, but could some one please

answer it anyways? I have looked through flash help and also macromedia's

technotes but couldn't find the answer. Is it possible to link an .exe

file to a button on another .exe file, so that it opens when the button

is hit?

Please help me if you can. Thank you so much!
