I don't know that file, so I can't point out where the thing is being used,
sorry.

I can say that I haven't seen other posts where the computer up and decides
to make something that isn't used used.

Starting with the one-or-all-files test can help show whether that
installation is really, really weird, or if the art in question is indeed
in actual use elsewhere in that file.


(For Director, the problem was when people deleted materials from the
library while they were still in use in the timeline. This created a track
in the timeline that referenced a library postion, even though there was
nothing there. If a font or such was later inserted into that library
position it would try to fulfill its sprite assignment, and the computer
couldn't figure out what the author wanted it to do. A few versions ago
there were protections put in to guard against people doing things like
that.)
