Hi Ian,
Ross Lindsay from Deakin Australia.
I've been doing a lot of flash work, and did come into the same problem you
are having. I am using Illustrator 8 now, with the new macromedia
flash-writer plug-in which works like a dream. But as for using earlier
versions, i found cutting and pasting the best way, but didn't always work
on very complex objects. (rather than trying to save and import)
